Description
Nothing can really describe the taste of kurobuta except for the nodding approval while one is savouring the tender juicy pork. Compared with commercial pork, kurobuta pork is darker and redder in color because of the thick layers of back fat that develops from a life spent outdoors and it is this back fat which contributes to the flavor and sweetness.
Kurobuta Pork’s fine marbling makes it perfect for grilling at high temperatures thus you don't need much seasoning or thick barbeque sauce; the best way to savor it is to eat it on its own with a dash of salt and pepper. Best to pair it with a good selection of wine as they are a perfect match together.
